Terms and Acceptable Use

Version 2026-09-28 · 28 September 2026

Service and access

Jboard is currently free and provides collaborative boards. You may use an account or participate as a guest. Public groups use a short shareable code; the owner can make a group private, disabling that code and using a private link. Anyone holding the current code or link can access it, so you are responsible for sharing it carefully. The owner may rename the group, decide whether members can create boards, and make boards view-only for others; only the owner may delete the group or its boards, except for authorized support moderation. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and lawful use. People under 16 may not independently create accounts or groups; a parent/guardian or teacher must manage and supervise use.

User content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You give Jboard only the limited licence needed to host, process, display, sync, and transmit it to people with group access. You are responsible for content you create, upload, or share and must have the necessary rights or permissions. Jboard does not pre-approve or endorse user-created board content. Illegal, abusive, harmful, or rights-infringing content and activity that disrupts the service are prohibited. Report problematic content or IP complaints to support@justboard.org; we may review reports and, where appropriate, remove content or restrict accounts/groups.

Deletion, availability, and liability

Guest groups may expire after 24 hours; group/account deletion removes associated data as described in the Privacy Policy. The service may be interrupted; continuous availability or recovery from backups is not guaranteed. To the extent the law permits, Jboard is not responsible for user-created content or outages outside its reasonable control; this does not remove statutory obligations, non-excludable liability, or consumer rights. We may suspend or end access for violations or security risks subject to applicable law. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer or privacy rights; contact support@justboard.org with questions.

Support and moderation

Report abuse, problematic content or malfunctions to support@justboard.org. Support may inspect only data and content relevant to the report, post ticket updates and, after review, take no action, remove specific boards/groups or restrict an offending account. A ban may end active sessions, delete the account and data it exclusively owns, and prevent registration with the same email. Other users' content is not removed merely because they collaborated with the restricted account. Keep your secret ticket link private: anyone with it can view status and public updates.
