Your choice
Jboard asks before enabling optional statistics. Accept and Reject are equally available; the service works after rejection. You can change your choice through “Cookie settings” in the footer. The choice lasts 180 days and is requested again when this policy version changes.
Necessary tools
Better Auth session cookies keep you signed in; jboard_guest retains guest-group ownership (up to 365 days); jboard_access_… keeps access to a shared group after opening its code or link (up to 30 days, revoked when its mode changes); jboard_privacy_choice remembers your choice (180 days). A temporary 20-minute cookie records legal acceptance before sign-in. Browser local storage keeps drawing/tool preferences and temporary collaboration identifiers; these support the service, not profiling. If you choose Google sign-in, your browser visits Google, which may use its own cookies under its policy.
Optional statistics
Only after Accept, jboard_visitor (up to 365 days) and jboard_visit_session (30 minutes) support the first-party statistics described in the Privacy Policy. Rejecting or withdrawing stops new events and clears these cookies. There is no Google Analytics or advertising tracker.
